Mish Mish – Alicante

As Usher once famously said “This is my confession. Well, not really but just a little secret spilled โ€“ we hit up this spot in Alicante a month ago during a winter getaway. While joking about our non-stop eating spree, the idea of a food blog popped up. Cue the hahahaha moment. Fast forward a bit, we snapped a few pics, and after countless meals later, we thought, “Why not share our foodie adventures with the world?” Worst case, it’s a sweet little diary of our escapades.

Now, we’re thrilled with the support here and on social media. Feel free to dive into the engagement, give us a like, and follow the gram if our bites and stories hit the spot. Mish Mish, the place where it all started. Imagine if the restaurant let us down right? Well, keep reading to see how it unfolds! Oh, and Alicante? GORGEOUS city by the beach. Loads to do, see, and eat. We even conquered a damn castle! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Trust me, we needed a quality meal after that adventure.

Ah, the blogger’s dilemma. I’m wondering, do we need to start doubling our orders, devour twice as much, and splurge, all in the name of bringing you, our lovely peeps, more content? Or is it just a sneaky excuse to indulge our insatiable appetite for scrumptious delights? ๐Ÿค” Well, when it comes to Lebanese cuisine, it’s all about that fresh, guilt-free deliciousness (or at least that’s what we tell ourselves). So, let’s dig into our feedback and see where our taste buds take us.

VIBE – Peep the vibe in our pics! We’ve jokingly dubbed it “spa vibes,” and you know what? It kinda had that serene feel, which I’m totally vibing with. We rolled in super early โ€“ like, opening time early โ€“ hence the empty seats. But truth be told, the layout and atmosphere were on point. We could soak in the cool ambiance and zero in on the real star of the show โ€“ the food!!!

Gram-worthy – If Lebanese food isn’t a burst of brightness, a riot of colours, and downright beautiful, then it’s probably not done right from the get-go. Lucky for us, our plates were a sight for sore eyes โ€“ everything, from the walls and decor to the table and the food, was a visual masterpiece. Perfecto indeed!

FLAVOURS – Top-notch ingredients truly steal the spotlight in a great meal, and we were basking in a bona fide luxury experience. Generous portions and a flawless harmony between salads, sauces, and meats โ€“ it was a symphony on our plates. My one regret? No snap of the bread. Picture this: soft, delicate, melting in the mouth. A true bread dream. Now, if I were to get a tad nit picky, I’d say maybe a smidge more seasoning on some bits, but honestly, that’s just me being a little fussy and can be personal preference.

THE FORK-OUT– Holiday vibes meant we were in the mood to treat ourselves, ready to splash out for the perfect spot, and guess what? We were genuinely stoked. The pricing was fair, the quality was off the charts, and truth be told, we could’ve easily indulged in more of their tantalising specialties. If you decide to give it a go, hit us up with the deets!

Crew – The owner/manager was an absolute gem! Welcomed us warmly, chatty, and had this knack for making us feel right at home, no small feat in an empty restaurant. What a lovely guy! And let’s talk about the rest of the crew โ€“ just as on point. We even caught a glimpse of his family and kiddies popping in to say hola to daddy, giving the place this authentic, family-friendly vibe. A well-deserved tip, for sure. Massive thanks for making our experience top-notch!

And there you have it, the birthplace of divine diners, even though we didn’t quite realise it at the time. If this little culinary journey sparked joy, drop us a comment or show some love on Insta โ€“ we’ve got heaps more delicious tales to dish out! And if you happen to find yourself in Alicante, swing by this hidden gem. Trust me, you won’t regret it (famous last words ๐Ÿ˜…).
